Beach Dreams Block 12 Border and Finishing

Dear Subscribers, 

This is the last installment of the Beach Dreams Block of the Month.  The borders are one of the coolest features of this quilt.  The twisted rope border is paper-pieced and assembled in blocks.  It may look complicated, but that is the beauty of this border:  it is easy to do!

I hope you have enjoyed working on the Beach Dreams Block of the Month.  It has been a pleasure to design and write this pattern, and I am delighted that you have joined me on the journey.  I would love to see your progress on this quilt, and anything unique you have added to make it uniquely yours.

I will be offering the whole quilt pattern on my website, and the individual blocks will remain available through next year, as well.

Next year I have a new block of the month starting in mid January.  I hope you will want to do that BOM as well.  As is often the case with my designs, this new one will feature a completely different look and theme.  It is based on the principles of Sacred Geometry and each block will include a short lesson about the principle behind it and the meaning and interpretations as it applies to quilting.  It starts with a huge central medallion that adds smaller blocks each month to complete this cosmically inspired quilt.  Interested?  I will send out a special email with details and an exclusive coupon code next week.
