All things, all shapes, originate from the circle. The source, the point at which existence begins. The moment of birth, the circle of life, the cycle of life and death.
When 2 circle come together they form the basis for all other geometrical shapes: triangle, polygon, square, diamond, pentagon, hexagon, pentagon, octagon, etc. The conjoined circles represent the reproduction and renewal of life, the evolution of shape from the point, to the circle, and beyond. We will see this shape in every block in this quilt as we explore the qualities of Sacred Geometry.
